Title: Methodology Technician (Operational documentation)

Number of positions to fill in: 1

Assignment office: Sainte-Adèle

Function summary: Under the supervision of the Methodology Coordinator. The Methodology Technician (Operational documentation) participates in the development and implementation of operational documentation and of methodology related to all testing activities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

METHODOLOGY PROJECT MANAGEMENT : 80%

Create methodology tools and guides related to the standardization of the project management methods.

Coordinate the translation of methodology documents.

Update the operational documentation.

Serve as support and reference for all types of Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.

Make Word and Excel documents compatible with Open Office.

Participate in the elaboration of new tools related to methodology.

Follow-up personally and regularly with Project Managers and Lead Testers on anything related with the operational documentation.

OTHER : 20%

May be required to assist or replace the Quality Control Technician

May be required to assist or replace the Methodology Technician (Test Suites / TCM).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Title: Methodology Technician (Test Cases)

Number of positions to fill in: 1

Assignment office: Sainte-Adèle

Function summary: Under the supervision of the Methodology Coordinator. The Methodology Technician (Test Cases) participates in the development and implementation of Test Suites and methodology for all testing activities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

TESTING METHODOLOGY - TEST CASES & SUITES: 60%

Creates, develops and updates Test Suites

Performs Training and monitors the resources involved in creating Test Suites

Monitors Test Suites throughout the projects with the Project Manager & Lead Testers

Coordinates the enrichment of the 'Test Cases' database (20%).

TESTING METHODOLOGY - TCM SOFTWARE: 20%

Assist the Methodology Coordinator in improving the TCM

Trainer / Resource for Lead Testers and testers in the use of the TCM (Test Cses Management Software)

OTHER : 20%

May be required to assist or replace the Quality Control Technician

May be required to assist or replace the Document Technician.

Brief description: Under supervision of the Project Manager, the Tester insures the quality of games tested under various aspects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Test games indicated by the project manager under various aspects according to the testing plan; record any bugs in a database using standard description and file a brief report. Tests must be conducted by navigating/using the game.

  • The tester may be asked to conduct specialized testing.

Requirements:

  • Capable of following a testing plan

  • Analytical

  • Observant

  • Understanding and knowledge of video games

  • Knowledge of gaming platforms

  • Precision

  • Knowledge of basic computing (Internet, email)

  • English writing skills

  • Knowledge of Enzyme's work process.

Job Title: LINGUISTIC TESTER US

Number of openings:

Place: Sainte-Adele

Summary of position: Under supervision of the Project Manager, the Tester insures the quality of games tested under various aspects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

TESTING: 100%

  • Test games indicated by the project manager under various aspects according to the testing plan; record any bugs in a database using standard description and file a brief report. Tests must be conducted by navigating/using the game.

  • All other video game related tasks assigned by supervisors.

  • The tester may be asked to conduct specialized testing.

LINGUISTIC SPECIALIZATION

  • Detect linguistic errors in language: grammar, spelling, punctuation etc

  • Find translation errors (vocabulary, etc.)

  • Ensure that subtitles correspond with audio.

  • Occasional translation

  • Correct cultural errors

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of the test language
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the cultural environment of the destination market.
